Consumer Cancellation Rights
A consumer is any natural person who makes a legal transaction for a purpose that cannot be attributed to the individual’s commercial activity (self-employed, professional, or otherwise).
Cancellation Policy & Cancellation Rights
You can cancel your order in writing (e.g letter, fax, e-mail) within fourteen days without stating any reasons or – if fully carried out before the deadline – also by returning the goods.
The deadline is set upon receiving these instructions in text form, and not before the goods have been received by the recipient (in the case of recurring deliveries of similar goods, not before the first partial delivery has been received) and also not before fulfillment of our obligation to inform you under Article 246 § 2 in conjunction with § 1 paragraph 1 and 2 EGBGB and our obligations under § 312g paragraph 1 sentence 1 BGB in conjunction with Article 246 § 3 EGBGB. The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you who is not the carrier have taken possession of the goods. The timely dispatch of the goods cancelled is required in order to comply with the cancellation period.
In order to comply with our cancellation policy, it is appropriate for you to send a notification of your desire to exercise your cancellation rights before the expiry of the cancellation period.

Consequences of Cancellation
In the event of an effective cancellation, the services received by both parties shall be returned and any benefits derived (e.g. interest) shall be returned. If you are unable to return or surrender the goods or services received or their uses (e.g. advantages of use) to us, or if you are unable to return or surrender them in full or in part, or only in a deteriorated condition, you must compensate us for the loss in value.
You do not have to pay compensation for any deterioration caused by the intended use of the goods. You only have to pay compensation for the value of the goods if you have used the goods in a way that goes beyond the extent of their purpose, properties and functionality. Testing the purpose, properties and functionality” means testing and trying out the respective goods, as is possible and usual in a retail shop.
Goods that can be sent by parcel post are to be returned at our risk. You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
Obligations to refund payments must be fulfilled within 30 days. The period begins for you upon issuing your desire to invoke your cancellation rights, and for us upon their receival.
Exemptions to Cancellation Rights
Cancellation rights do not apply to orders where the products are manufactured according to customer specifications or are clearly tailored to personal needs. They also do not apply to products which, due to their nature, are not suitable for return, can spoil quickly, or whose expiration date would be exceeded. For the delivery of audio or video recordings or software, if the delivered data carriers have been unsealed by you or for the delivery of newspapers, periodicals and magazines, the product may not be returned, unless you have invoked your right of cancellation by telephone.
End of cancellation policy
Please send the goods back to us, if possible, not unmarked but as a marked and stamped package. We will also be happy to reimburse you for the postage costs in advance if we have to bear the return costs. Please avoid damaging the goods and other possible contamination. If possible, please return the goods in their original packaging with all accessories and packaging components. If you no longer have the original packaging, please make sure you have suitable packaging to avoid the good’s damage in transit. The above specifications are not a prerequisite for the successful exercise of your right of cancellation.
