Use of cookies
We use so-called cookies on our website. Cookies are text files that enable us to make your visit to our website convenient. These include, for example, default settings for the presentation of our website or shopping cart functions, as well as the option of single sign-on, so that you only have to register once on our website, even if you want to use offers from our product partners. Cookies contain a unique letter/number combination that identifies the browser you are using. These cookies are temporarily stored on your computer and are only transmitted to our servers when you visit our website. We mainly use “session cookies”, which are not stored on your hard drive and are deleted when you close your browser or after a longer period of inactivity. Some cookies are also stored on your hard drive for a longer period of time.
You can view and delete the cookies stored on your computer and control the use of cookies in general via the settings of your Internet browser. For more information, please contact the manufacturer or the help function of your Internet browser. Please note that the functionalities of www.noble-nomads.de may be restricted or not available if you do not allow cookies.
Third-Party-Cookies:
We place advertisements on other websites via advertising partners or advertising networks. These advertising partners use so-called third-party cookies, which are activated when you visit www.noble-nomads.de and are only read by the respective advertising partner. These third party cookies are used to measure the success and billing of the advertising measures used between advertising partners and us. No personal data will be stored, rather only the bringing up of the website of www.noble-nomads.de via the advertising measure implemented by the advertising partner are collected. Third party cookies are temporarily stored cookies that are stored in your browser for a maximum of 540 days after the last visit and then automatically expire.
You can view and delete the cookies stored on your computer and control the use of cookies in general via the settings of your Internet browser. You can obtain further information on this from the manufacturer or from the help function of your Internet browser.
Retargeting
We would like to show you only specific advertisements which you are really interested in. That is why we use so-called retargeting on www.noble-nomads.de for advertising tailored to your interests. When you visit www.noble-nomads.de, our retargeting partners store temporary cookies on your end device via your Internet browser. The temporarily stored cookies enable our retargeting partners to recognize visitors to our shop under a pseudonym and only display advertisements for products that are likely to interest our visitors.
What data is collected?
Temporary cookies enable our retargeting partners to track and store our visitors’ click paths under their pseudonyms. Only data regarding your use of www.noble-nomads.de is collected (e.g. number of page views from www.noble-nomads.de, internal search queries, product page views, login status, order confirmation page views). At no time will personal or sensitive data be stored in the cookies of our retargeting partners. The information collected from our retargeting partners is not merged with information that identifies our visitors.
How can I turn off retargeting?
If you do not wish to receive personalized advertising through retargeting, please use one of the following methods to opt out in the future:
Firstly, as with other third-party cookies, you can control the use of cookies via your browser settings and, for example, only accept the storage of temporary cookies with your consent. Please read the section “Use of cookies”. A further objection option is to click on the opt-out link displayed in each retargeting advertising medium used by our partners. This link is an “i” or the grayed-in name of our service provider on the respective ad. Clicking on the link leads you to our advertising partner’s webpage where you can switch off the advertising services. Please keep in mind that a so-called opt-out cookie is stored on your end device via your Internet browser to switch off retargeting. Your objection is therefore only effective if you use the same Internet browser and allow this opt-out cookie and do not delete it. If you subsequently wish to use another Internet browser, please also use one of the two opposition options with this Internet browser.
Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will generally be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. However, your IP address will be shortened by Google in advance within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and Google from processing this data by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
We also use Google Analytics to evaluate data from the double-click cookie for statistical purposes. If you do not wish this to happen, you can deactivate it using the Advertisement Preferences Manager (https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/?hl=de).
We also use Floodlight tags from Google DoubleClick to support online advertising and to analyze the usage of our website. These tags do not transmit any personally identifiable information to Google DoubleClick. For details about DoubleClick’s use of your information, the use of cookies in this context, and how to disable cookies, please see DoubleClick’s Privacy Notice: (https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/2839090?hl=de)
Additionaly, we use Google Remarketing, an advertising service from Google, which can be used to target previous visitors to the website. We use cross-device remarketing with Google AdWords and DoubleClick. Provided you’ve agreed for Google to link your web and browser history to your Google Account, Google will use information from your Google Account, along with Google Analytics data, to personalize ads and create target audience data for cross-device remarketing. As a Google user, you can customize your ad preferences under “My Account” or opt out of personalized ads. You can also prevent Google from processing your information by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de)
Use of Google AdWords
This website uses Google AdWords, an analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Adwords places a cookie on your computer (“conversion cookie”) if you have reached our website via a Google advertisement. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages on our site and the cookie has not expired, we and Google may recognize that someone clicked on the ad and was directed to our site. Each AdWords customer receives a different cookie. This means that cookies cannot be tracked through the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected from the Conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for Conversion Tracking. We do not receive information that personally identifies users.
If you do not wish to participate in the tracking process, you can also refuse to set a cookie as required for this – for example, by changing your browser settings to disable the automatic setting of cookies. You can also deactivate cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the “googleadservices.com” domain.

In form fields, the information that we require for the services you have requested is marked as mandatory; other information is voluntary. For the conclusion and processing of contracts, we require contact details such as name, delivery and billing address and e-mail address, as well as details of the type of payment method you have chosen, depending on the individual case. In addition, we use your data to maintain our customer database so that only the relevant data is stored there. In order to avoid typing errors and to ensure that your ordered items also reach you, we check the completeness and correctness of your address when you enter them.

- We want you to enjoy reading our e-mails. Therefore, we try to include only the content, which you are most-likely interested in. We therefore measure and store opening and click rates in your user profile, i.e. if and when you open our e-mails, which contents of the e-mails you click on when and if and why our e-mails could possibly not be delivered. We also use this data for statistical data.
- Certain messages containing information, which are necessary in order to carry out a contract and the function of the website www.noble-nomads.de, for example regarding service (e.g. registration confirmation, customer service information, etc.) or regarding one’s liability to pay the costs of a package (e.g. order confirmation, contract documents, payment completion) cannot be canceled. Finally, we store and use your data to the extent that we are legally obliged to do so, e.g. due to official regulations and/or court orders, and to exercise our rights and claims as well as for legal defense.
3. Data security
The security of your personal data has a high priority for us. We therefore protect your data stored with us through technical and organizational measures to effectively prevent loss or misuse by third parties. In particular, our employees who process personal data are obliged to observe data secrecy. To protect your personal data, it is transmitted in an encrypted form. To protect communication via your Internet browser, we use SSL=Secure Socket Layer, for example. You can recognize this by the lock symbol displayed by your browser when you are using an SSL connection. In order to guarantee the permanent protection of your data, the technical security measures are regularly checked and, if necessary, adapted and brought up to date. These principles also apply to companies that process and use data on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions.
4. Your rights to your data
You have legal claims to information regarding your data stored with us as well as to modification, deletion and blocking of this personal data. You can exercise these rights most quickly, simply and conveniently by logging into your customer account and editing the data stored there directly or deleting your customer account as a whole. Data, which we have to store due to legal, statutory or contractual storage obligations, are blocked instead of being deleted in order to prevent their use for other purposes.
5. Consent, cancellation and objection rights
If we use data for any purpose that requires your consent in accordance with the statutory provisions, we will always ask you for your explicite consent and record it in accordance with the data protection regulations. You may revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future and/or object to future use of your data for advertising, market and opinion research purposes. Please understand that the implementation of your objection/revocation may take a little time for technical reasons and that you may still receive messages from us during this time.
If you wish to object to the data uses described in Section 3a), please follow the instructions given there. 6. Social Plugins
a) Einbindung über AddThis
Integration via AddThis
On our website we offer you so-called social plugins from various social networks (e.g. the Facebook “Like” button). These plugins are integrated by addthis.com from Clearsprings Technologies, Inc., 8000 Westpark Drive, Suite 625, McLean, VA 22102, USA.
In order to protect your privacy, we use a technical solution to integrate the social plugins that prevents data (e.g. IP address) from being transferred to add.this or social networks such as Facebook when you open our website. The plugins are only activated when you click on the social plugins for the first time. As a result, your browser retrieves the plugins from the servers of addthis.com and displays them as part of our website. Information (e.g. IP address) is transmitted to addthis in the USA and to social networks such as Facebook. In addition, addthis.com may store cookies or so-called “web beacons” on your computer.
Only with a second click on the social plugins you can use the “tell a friend” function (e.g. “Like”) to its full extent. If you are a member of a social network and click on the corresponding social plugin, the provider of the social network may be able to link information about your visit to our website with your profile data there. Therefore, please check these functionalities with the operators of the social networks you use. More detailed information about how addthis.com works can be found in the privacy policy of addthis.com at http://www.addthis.com/privacy, as well as in the privacy policy of the providers of the respective social plugins. These can be found on the websites of the providers of the social plugins mostly via links in the header or footer, which are marked with data protection, data protection information, privacy or similar.
Please inform yourself about the setting options of your browser when dealing with cookies and “web beacons”. You can obtain this information from the manufacturer of your browser. In addition, there are so-called browser extensions and plug-ins available from third-party providers with which you can configure how your browser handles cookies and personal information.
If you do not want AddThis to collect your data in the future, you can set an opt-out cookie, which you can download from the following link:
http://www.addthis.com/privacy/opt-out
b) Direct integration
So-called social plugins (“plugins” of the social network Facebook are used on our website, which is operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd., Hanover Reach, 5-7 Hanover Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”). The plugins are marked with a Facebook logo or the addition “Social Plugin from Facebook” or “Facebook Social Plugin”. You can find an overview of the Facebook plugins and their appearance here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins
If you call up a page of our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly from Facebook to your browser and integrated into the webpage. This integration provides Facebook with the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a Facebook profile or are not logged on to Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly from your browser to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there.
If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign your visit to our website directly to your Facebook profile. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the “Like” button or commenting, this information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information is also published on your Facebook profile and displayed to your Facebook friends.
The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook as well as your rights in this regard and setting options to protect your privacy can be found in Facebook’s data protection information: http://www.facebook.com/policy.php
If you do not want Facebook to associate the data collected through our website directly with your Facebook profile, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website. You can also completely prevent the loading of Facebook plugins with add-ons for your browser, e.g. with the “Facebook Blocker” (http://webgraph.com/resources/facebookblocker/).
7. Links to Internet pages of other companies
www.noble-nomads.de may contain links to websites of other companies. We are not responsible for the data protection precautions on external websites which you can reach via these links. Please inform yourself there about the data protection of these external websites.
8. Changes to this data protection information
We always want to present our customers with an attractive offer and therefore continuously change our assortment to comply with the wishes of our customers. This may necessitate updates to this data protection information. We therefore recommend that you check this page regularly for changes. We will inform you separately of any changes that may affect your consent.
